At Humming, we want you to be completely happy with your tuning fork set. This policy explains your options if you change your mind or if something isn't right. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
30-day returns
You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to return it for a refund if you change your mind. To be eligible, the item must be unused and in its original condition and packaging, in a state we're able to resell.
This 30-day window is our own promise to you, and sits on top of the legal rights set out below.
Your right to cancel (UK)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you are in the UK you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason. You then have a further 14 days from telling us to send the goods back.
If you cancel within this period, we will refund the full price of the goods together with the standard delivery cost you paid. (If you chose an upgraded or express delivery option, we refund the standard rate, not the premium.)
Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the goods we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or is not what you ordered:
- Within 30 days of receiving it, you are entitled to a full refund.
- We will cover the cost of return postage, and replace or refund the item as you prefer.
Please email contact@hummingfork.com with your order number and a photo of the issue, and we will put it right quickly.
How to start a return
Email contact@hummingfork.com with your order number, telling us whether you would like a refund or an exchange. We will reply with return instructions and the return address. Please do not send anything back before contacting us.
Return shipping
- Change-of-mind returns: you cover the cost of return postage. We recommend a tracked service, as the item remains your responsibility until it reaches us.
- Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items: we cover the cost of return postage.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email to confirm. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days of receiving the goods back, and always within the 14 days required by law. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to show the funds in your account.
Exchanges
The fastest way to exchange an item is to return it for a refund and place a new order.
Non-returnable items
Gift cards are non-returnable. (Remove this line if you do not sell gift cards.)
